Nathan Sanchez Art
My name Is Nathan Sanchez and I am a Senior at Methacton high school enrolled in AP. Art. From a very young age, I was imaginative and creative. I loved art and music without knowing that I would actually be doing art and music when I got older.
In school I would doodle in sketch books all the time. I would also tap out rhythms on my desk as well, which some people found quiet annoying. I loved video games as well. I loved them because they allowed me to explore fantasy worlds and they provided a place in my mind for me to escape to somewhere more exciting than my actual life. These video games are partially responsible for influencing my style in the artwork I create. I like working in a realistic style while incorporating fantasy/surreal elements in. I believe that this allows for technical precision and creative freedom to live in the same room. I have always tried to make my artworks look like photoshop composites, but done with physical media rather than digital.
This is why I am going to college to become a concept artist/illustrator. I hope one day I will be able to work for a AAA studio like Activision, Ubisoft, or Bethesda. This job will allow me to make enough money to live comfortably while doing what I love, working with like minded people. Digital art and animation opens the doors to so much. It allows a group of artists to create worlds, and bring them to life. In my opinion, a job can't get much cooler than that.
